Preliminary LFS_LFG statistics of the 4th Year - 2025/26

Základní popis aktuálního ročníku LFS a informace ke spolupracujícím gymnáziím/středním školám

Basic description of the current year of LFS and information on the cooperating grammar schools.

  • Ve školním roce 2025/26 proběhl čtvrtý ročník LFS.
  • Díky našim podporovatelům a dárcům bylo uděleno Stipendium Lingua Franca  xx,x % zájemcům, kteří splnili všechny podmínky. Velice si této podpory vážíme a upřímně děkujeme všem, kteří se rozhodli podpořit naši myšlenku. 
  • Celkový počet oficiálně spolupracujících středních škol (SŠ) byl rozšířen na sedmnáct, n=18, ze 5 krajů České republiky.
  • Z celkového počtu n=18 spolupracujících SŠ se o stipendium ucházeli studenti a studentky ze n=8 SŠ, což představuje 45 % reálně zapojených SŠ.

  • The 2025/26 school year saw the 4th year of LFS_LFG. Thanks to our supporters and donors, we were able to maintain the number of scholarships awarded at xx,x%. We greatly appreciate this support and sincerely thank everyone who has chosen to support our cause. The total number of officially cooperating grammar schools (GS) has been expanded to seventeen, n=18, from 5 regions of the Czech Republic. Out of the total number of n=18 cooperating GS, students from n=8 high schools applied for the scholarship, which represents 44% of the actual participating GS.

  • Celkový počet zájemců o stipendium se oproti předcházejícímu třetímu ročníku zvýšil  o 176 %, celkově n=47.
  • Počet uchazečů o LFS_LFG, kteří splnili všechny podmínky (přihlasil se, dodal motivační dopis a dodal certifikát) je n=XX. Statistika dále pracuje pouze s uchazeči, kteří splnili všechny podmínky, aby se mohli ucházet o LFS_LFG.
  • Ročníku 2025/26 se zúčastnilo n=44 studentek a studentů z n= 8 SŠ, z toho 73%, n=8, žen (Tabl.2). 
  • Počet oceněných studentek a studentů z celkového počtu byl 45,5%, n=5, (Tabl.1), z tohoto počtu bylo 80 %, n=4, žen (Tabl.1).


  • The total number of scholarship applicants increased by 176% from the previous second year, n=47 in total. Number of LFS applicants who fulfilled all conditions (applied, provided a cover letter and delivered a certificate) total number n=11. The statistics further work only with applicants who fulfilled all conditions to apply for LFS. The third year of the LFS was attended by n=11 students from n=5 high schools, of which 73%, n=8, were female (Table 2). The number of awarded students was 45,5%, n=5, of the total number of students (Tabl.1), of which 80%, n=4, were female (Tabl.1).

Výsledky celkově

The results overall
  • Pro získání CAE certifikátu je nutný zisk 180 a více bodů, maximální možný počet dosažených bodů je 210 podle Cambridge English Scale.
  • Maximální získaný počet bodů v ročníku 2025/26 LFS_LFG byl 208. Medián dosaženého počtu bodů v ročníku 2024/25 LFS_LFG byl 201 bodů, mezikvartilové rozpětí 4 bodů (Tbl.2). 
  • 9,1 % (n=1) účastníků dosáhlo úrovně C1 - C, 18,2 % (n=2) účastníků dosáhlo úrovně C1 - B a 72,7 % (n=8) účastníků dosáhlo úrovně C1 - A, a tím se posunuli na jazykovou úroveň C2 (Obr.1).


  • A score of 180 or more is required for the CAE certificate, with a maximum score of 210 on the Cambridge English Scale. The maximum score in 2024/25 LFS was 208. The median score was 201 points, with an interquartile range of 5 points (Tbl.2). 9,1% (n=1) of the participants achieved C1 - C, 18,2% (n=2) of the participants achieved C1 - B and 72,7% (n=8) of the participants achieved C1 - A, thus moving to language level C2 (Fig.1).

             Výsledky u oceněných studentů

               Results for awarded students

  • Maximální získaný počet bodů ve druhém ročníku LFS_LFG byl 208. Medián dosaženého počtu bodů v aktuálním ročníku LFS_LFG byl 202 bodů, mezikvartilové rozpětí 4 body (Tabl. 2). 


  • The maximum number of points obtained in the second year of the LFS_LFG was 208. The median score in the current year of LFS_LFG was 202 points, the interquartile range was 4 points (Table 2).
